Yonge Street Mission has been dedicated to fighting chronic poverty in Toronto since 1896. For almost 130 years, YSM has been reaching out to the community to lift people up. Double Take Thrift Store was opened in 1999 as a way to help support the organization's many programs as well as employ members of the community.
