DoubleTake's Re-Use Market

Hello Community Members,

We’re thrilled to invite you to our upcoming YSM’s Double Take Thrift Store “FREE” Re-Use Market, where rescued clothing, shoes, and accessories will be available for anyone to take, at no cost!

These items may have minor rips or stains, but they’re still wearable, reusable, and perfect for upcycling or creative projects. By giving these pieces a second life, we’re working together to reduce textile waste and keep usable items out of landfills.

Event Details:
Date: Monday, September 15, 2025
Time: 11:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Yonge Street Mission - Martin Centre - 306 Gerrard Street East, Toronto
(Beside YSM’s Double Take Thrift Store)

How It Works:

• Guests will line up and enter in small groups.
• Each person will have 15 minutes to shop.
• If you'd like more time, you're welcome to line up again for another turn.
• We kindly ask everyone to be mindful of how much they take, so others have a chance to shop too.
• At the end of your time, a staff member will notify you to pack up your items.
• PLEASE NOTE: Disrespectful or disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the event.

BRING YOUR OWN BAGS!

If you don’t have one, we’ll have clear garbage bags (26x36) available for $1 each.
