ABOUT DOUBLE TAKE’S POP-UP MARKET

The Double Take’s Pop-Up Market is a temporary space hosted by YSM’s Double Take Thrift Store at 310 Gerrard Street East. This weekend-long event highlights Toronto’s local artists, makers, and small business owners.

The market is designed to provide a welcoming environment for vendors who are new to in-person markets. It’s an opportunity for vendors to connect with customers directly, showcase their products, and gain confidence in a supportive and community-driven space.

OUR MISSION is to build a community that empowers individuals to pursue their passion for creativity and entrepreneurship while raising awareness about the importance of supporting local talent and small businesses.

OUR VISION is to establish the Double Take’s Pop-Up Market as a go-to event for Torontonians, offering a full-day experience that combines shopping, community, and inspiration.

DEMOGRAPHICS AND FOOT TRAFFIC

YSM’s Double Take Thrift Store sees over 300 daily customers, our shoppers are savvy community members on the lookout for great cheap deals. In addition, we attract locals from the Cabbagetown neighborhood who have a strong appreciation for handmade, high-quality products crafted by local artists and makers.

On market days, we anticipate attracting our daily customers, as well as a dedicated pop-up market crowd who will visit specifically for the event.

SELECTION PROCESS
We aim to create a diverse and well-rounded market experience, so we’ll ensure no vendors are offering similar products. Selection will be based on the uniqueness and quality of each vendor’s offerings.
